| #59 - Ace - adopted: approximately 3 1/2 year old neutered male. Ace is a very sweet guy who loves everybody. He's good with kids and other dogs. He loves to carry things around, go for long walks and snuggle in front of the TV. He know his basic obedience commands (sit, down stay, heel, come) but needs a little work on responding to them more consistently. | adopted- Curious: is a 7 year old spayed female registered Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She was surrendered to rescue when her owners moved from the farm to a small town and felt they didn't have time for her. She's a happy dog who loves to be with people. She's housetrained and crate trained and rides well in her crate in the van. She seldom jumps up but can pushy. She's learning a lot of obedience commands and walks really well on leash. Curious is good with children although due to her size would be better with older kids. She may knock little ones over with her wagging tail. She's had a full vet check and is a very healthy 7 year old. She's up to date on her vaccinations. We think she'll make the right family a great companion for many years. Curious has a new home in a Saskatoon with a active owner who has had a Chessie before so is familiar with their charm. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

He's a bit dominant with other dogs so will do best with a more submissive canine companion or as an only dog . | adopted - 2009 - Remi: is an approximately 7 - 8 year old neutered male. Remi's a happy go lucky guy who loves to go for walks or relax in front of the TV with a bowl of popcorn. He's a little rambuctious when he first meets new people but settles down quickly. Although he plays well with most dogs he's a bit dominant with other dogs so would have to meet any other dogs in the home before adoption could be finalized. Remi will need a home with a secure yard with a 6' fence and will need to remain on leash when outside his yard. He's a good boy but if he gets on the trail of a rabbit or a deer he "forgets" his come command. He's a very healthy, happy guy who's happy with a 1/2 hour daily walk and a soft pillow to sleep on. Remi has a great new home in Moose Jaw. We miss him but know he's very happy to finally have a home of his own. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| adopted - #57 - 2010 - Dolce: is a 10 month old female. She was surrendered by her owners due to allergies. She's quite timid and shy in new situations so will need lots of socializing and TLC. She'll be spayed soon and available for adoption shortly after. We'd like her new home to be in the Regina area so we can monitor her progress and ensure she's doing well in her new environment. May 8 update: Dolce was spayed on May 3 and had a cyst removed from her head. This picture is taken after her surgery. She's recovering very well and should be ready for adoption on May 17th.
