adopted 2008  -  Arrow:  is a 1 year old neutered male.   Arrow was originally surrendered when he was approximately 4 - 5 months old and adopted in January.  In his adoptive home he started displaying some possesive behaviours that had the potential to be a problem with her children.  So Arrow is back and and we're looking for an adult only family who is willing to continue his training.   Arrow has had a number of  puppy and manners classes as well as some agility classes.  He's doing well but is still a young rambunctious golden boy who requires training, exercise and a family who will maintain a healthy pack hiarchy.  He's house trained, crate trained and his vaccinations are up to date.
adopted  -  #40  -  2008  -  Levi:  is a 1 year old neutered male.   He's house trained, crate trained and his vaccinations are up to date.  Levi's a typical happy go lucky young golden.
adopted  -  #39  -  2008  -  Beau: is a 18 month old neutered male.   He's house trained, crate trained and his vaccinations are up to date.  He's had some obedience training although could benefit from another class.  He gets along well with people, dogs and cats although is a little unconfident when he first meets new people and dogs and in new situations.  Beau has found a new home in an acreage with a senior golden friend to show him the ropes.
adopted  -  #38  -  2008  -  Chevy: is a 18 month old neutered male.  He's in need of a new home because his family is moving and are unable to take him.  He's house trained, crate trained and good with people and other pets.  As with any young golden he'll benefit from more obedience training. March 24th update: Chevy's new name is Darcy.  He's on trial in a home with another young golden to play with.  They are starting to adjust to each other and Darcy is learning some house manners and will be starting obedience classes this week.
adopted  - #37  -  2008  - Gibson: is a 18 month old neutered male.  His busy family didn't have time for him so he's looking for a new home to call his own.  He's house trained and knows sit and down commands.  He needs work on come and heel.  His previous home had problems with him detroying things when left home alone.  He's now crate trained so he has a safe place to spend the time he has to be left alone.  He's a happy, fun loving guy with lots of energy.  Gibson has moved to Winnipeg where he has 3 teenage boys and another dog to play with.  Feb 1 Update: Gibson is coming back into rescue.  More information will be posted as is becomes available.  Feb 22 Update: Gibson (now named Dexter) was returned to rescue due to possesiveness issues.  We need to find an one pet home for Dexter with an adult only family.  His seperation anxiety has excalated since he's been back.  He's crate trained but does bark at first when left alone.  He's great in the vehicle, loves car rides, walks and retrieving.  Mar 24 Update: Dexter has a new home where he's an only dog so will get all the attention he wants and will even be going to work with his "mom".
